The first floor is dedicated to the Artistry of the Automobile, as inspiration and as a canvas for artistic expression. One of this floor’s key attributes is a 160-foot wall where you can project event enhancing images, such as your company logo, corporate images, or personal photos.

The third floor is dedicated to the History of the Automobile encompassing the concepts of style, innovation, freedom, utility and distinction. There is a fascinating and eclectic mix of cars and motorcycles along with 50’s concept dream cars and the permanent Hollywood Exhibit. Every car has a unique and fascinating historical narrative. This floor also includes a 1920 Model T Ford that your guests can climb into and which becomes a fun and creative photo opportunity for your event.

The rooftop of The Petersen is an exceptional choice. Your event will occupy the fourth floor, including a glass room with the option to open the sides allowing a free flow onto the stellar patio. Enjoy panoramic vistas of the Hollywood Hills and Century City, along with a bird’s eye view of Miracle Mile. At night, see the bright lights of Los Angeles under the spectacular ribbons.

Best known for a lifetime immersed in Southern California’s automotive culture and as founder of Hot Rod and Motor Trend magazines, Robert E. Petersen and his wife, Margie, fulfilled a long-time dream when they became founding benefactors to the Petersen Automotive Museum. The museum opened its doors as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit educational institution in 1994. Since then, the Petersen has been artfully transformed inside and out and reopened its doors in December of 2015. It has become an exceptional venue for weddings, galas, Bar Mitzvahs, graduations and family celebrations, as well as corporate events, charity galas, conferences, product launches and more.
